Giulia’s interest in design began in childhood, when she accompanied her architect father on site visits throughout Tuscany. These early experiences sparked a fascination with the relationship between design, construction, and place, leading her to study Landscape Management at the University of Pisa before moving to London in 2012.

In 2015, Giulia completed a Diploma in Garden Design at KLC School of Design. While volunteering at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, she met the directors of del Buono Gazerwitz and subsequently joined the practice, where she worked on residential gardens across the UK and Italy.

In 2019, Giulia joined Arne Maynard Garden Design, gaining extensive experience in the design, development, and construction of gardens of varying scales and character around the world. She established her own practice in 2023 and now works on projects in London, the English countryside, Italy, and the United States.

Giulia approaches each garden as an extension of the home—a place where architecture, landscape, and nature come together to create a meaningful connection between indoor and outdoor living. Her work is informed by a sensitivity to place, material, and planting, as well as a belief that gardens should be both beautiful and deeply personal.

An avid traveler, Giulia draws inspiration from the landscapes, cultures, and gardens she encounters, while nature remains the enduring influence at the heart of her work.
